Dead Can Dance was amazing. AMAZING! The band was great, the sound was great—I can't believe I almost didn't go, although that actually turned out to be fortuitous. I bought tickets right before the show, but somehow we ended up right in front, first row after the VIP seats. Incredible. The Goddes loves me. This goes on my favorite shows of all time list:

5. F-Space at Burning Man

It totally made up for having to spend 3 hours chopping up 50 lbs. of cabbage for sauerkraut, and 2 hours deveining foie gras.

Speaking of, I don't know that anyone who reads this will be that interested, but I've started a culinary school journal at Blogger. It's currently chronicling my internship at Blackbird (although I changed the name, just 'cause it seemed like I should) and my Wine class, which is fabulous.
